An incorrect network profile can cause issues to a multi-server ACC Site cluster, camera connections, and more.
Checking "Network Location" (Profile):
- Right-click on the network connection icon in the Windows taskbar and go to Network and Sharing Center.
- In the middle, it shows location / profiles:
- "Work" and "Home" are Private, "Public" is, of course, Public.
- Open up "Local Security Policy" by typing secpol.msc in the Start Menu and pressing Enter.
- Click on "Network List Manager Policies", right-click the network you're currently connected to. Click Properties:
- Click "Network Location" tab. Set "Location type" to Private. Click OK:
- Repeat the above steps on every active network connection of the computer.
